President's Message

Dear Friends,
Warm Christian greetings in the name of our Lord, Jesus Christ.

Welcome to the campus of Caribbean Wesleyan College (CWC). The courses we offer seek to give our students a well-rounded training for Pastoral duties and Christian education. Since 1998, we have added courses geared for lay people, to enable them to study the word of God even if they are not able to attend full-time classes. Moreover, individuals can attend classes and ‘Audit’ (that means one does not have to take examinations) and they will benefit from the lectures.

Our motto is “Shaping vessels of honor” (2 Timothy 2:20-21), which CWC has been doing for over eighty years.  Many of our students are serving effectively across the Caribbean and North America. Some have gone on to higher degrees: Master’s and Doctorate.

Since the new environment is to be your home for some time, we trust that your stay will be a pleasant experience. We want you to know that we are deeply interested in your physical, spiritual, moral and educational success, and we are committed to that end.

At CWC, then, our emphasis is not only academic achievement but spiritual growth and maturity. Thus, our students are encouraged to seek entire sanctification. Our prayer is that our students will be vessels of honor after their years of study here.

I look forward to receiving you on the campus and into the CWC family.

Yours in the Master’s service,

Rev. Lorrel Garwood
